I have had the pleasure of working and learning from dogs for a very long time. I spent many years training drug, bomb and people detection dogs, and have been fortunate to team up with, corrections, police and military, to name a few. A truly immense knowledge pool to learn from. I still get excited about teaching new disciplines and hope this never changes, as a Search and Rescue dog handler, I love the fact our team skills genuinely help people and as I get older, hopefully I can continue this through K9SMD long after my wilderness legs no longer work. I may have founded this awesome charity but would never have got here without such a diverse, passionate outstanding team.
